Q. Where is Lo-Fi Brewing + Where do I park?
Lo-Fi Brewery is located at 2038 Meeting St., N. Charleston, SC 29405, Entrance on Tuxbury Lane. [Map]
Parking is incredibly limited. We suggest carpooling or ubering as great alternatives. It is an eco-friendly event after all!
Q. What time is the event?
Doors open at 10am and the event ends at 3pm. There are many things going on throughout the day so you’ll likely want to hang all day.
Q. What is included with my admission ticket?
The ticket includes entrance into the Charleston Coffee Fest. It includes one Acme + Co. tasting mug, unlimited free coffee tastings, all entertainment, free activities for the kiddos (face painting, crafts and more), educational opportunities, “best coffee” and latte art challenges, photo booth, coffee demos, and an all-around awesome time. Brunch and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. Entrance is free for kids 12 and younger.Each guest will receive a tasting mug that will be used to taste all the coffee one can handle with ticket purchase.
Early bird pricing:
General Admission: $25 | Student/Military/65+: $20
Ticket prices increase the week of the event starting on Monday February 3rd.

Q. Will there be beverages other than coffee?
Yes! There will be craft beer, from our official bar sponsor, Lo-Fi Brewing available for purchase.
Tea from Rishi Tea will be provided in the tea lounge as well as a few other tea vendors. Water will be available as well.
Q. Is this event family friendly?
The Charleston Coffee Fest welcomes families! Children 12 and under will receive free admission into the event, however they will not receive a tasting mug. There will be plenty of activities for kids including crafts, a kids’ corner, face painting, and more.

Q. What is a zero-waste event?
Events are inherently wasteful, but it doesn’t have to be that way with forethought and a lot of planning. The Charleston Coffee Fest has teamed up with “Keep Charleston Beautiful” to ensure that the vast majority of waste produced by the event will be recycled or composted. We cut back the waste big time by providing Acme + Co. reusable tasting mugs from our sponsors Eight Ounce Coffee Supply.
Q. How do I apply for the "Best Coffee" competition?
Roasters who are participating as a vendor at the event will have the opportunity to submit coffee to the official “Best Coffee” competition.
IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR THE “BEST COFFEE” COMPETITION, YOU MUST BE A ROASTER OR A SPONSOR
WITH A BOOTH SPACE AT THE CHARLESTON COFFEE FEST.*
An official email will be sent to all roasters who are participating in the event the first week of December which will include all necessary documents for the competition. The deadline to send in coffee for this competition will be announced at a later date. All details are outlined in the official email that was sent at the start of December.
There is a $50 fee to compete in the “Best Coffee” competition.
Winner of the “Best Coffee” competition will receive a full page ad feature in Barista Magazine as the winner of the Charleston Coffee Fest “Best Coffee” Winner.
Q. How do I apply for the Latte Art Competition?
The Latte Art Competition will be limited to 16 baristas. Registration is first come first serve on the day of the event.
Registration will be open from 10AM – 10:50AM and can be found at the Charleston Coffee Fest Merchandise booth.
The latte art competition will begin promptly at 11AM. There is a $15 CASH entry fee.
Winner of the competition will take home $500 cash.
There will be a bonus non-diary latte art competition round for additional prizes sponsored by Oatly.
